Scott serves as President at FERMA Corporation, leading sales, estimating, project management, safety, and accounting alongside the executive team to execute on FERMA's long-term growth plan. He brings more than two decades of specialty contracting experience to the role.

Pete Buss

Pete serves as Chief Operating Officer at FERMA Corporation, leading day-to-day operations across project execution, safety, logistics, shop, and warehouse. He has been in the construction industry since 2006.

A hands-on operator with deep field experience, Pete is known for a level of project financial fluency that's rare at the COO level — he understands the numbers behind the work, not just the work itself. He uses AI across FERMA's operational workflows to modernize how construction projects are planned, tracked, and delivered.
Vice President, Preconstruction

Tim Ruff

Tim serves as Vice President of Preconstruction, leading the early phases of project planning and development. He plays a critical role in evaluating project feasibility, preparing estimates, and aligning client goals with the company’s capabilities.

His responsibilities include managing preconstruction services, overseeing estimating teams, coordinating with clients and design professionals, and ensuring budgets and schedules are set up for success. With a focus on precision and collaboration, Tim helps lay the foundation for projects that are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Vice President, Demolition

Jose Torres

Jose serves as Vice President of Demolition at FERMA Corporation, overseeing the company’s large-scale demolition operations throughout the region. He provides leadership that ensures projects are bid and executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations.

Jose leads the division by managing and actively supporting sales, estimating, and project management efforts, while also overseeing demolition field teams. He coordinates resources, monitors project performance, and upholds the highest standards of safety and quality throughout all phases of work. With extensive field expertise and hands-on leadership, Jose drives both business development and successful project execution across the region.
Vice President, Selective Demolition and Abatement

Padraic Ryan

With deep expertise in hazardous materials and interior selective demolition, Padraic drives excellence in some of FERMA’s most technically demanding work.
Vice President, Site Development & Underground

Sam Taqateq

Sam serves as Vice President of Site Development & Underground at FERMA Corporation, leading the company's underground utilities, site development, earthwork, grading, and complete civil package services. He oversees projects involving complex site infrastructure and underground scopes, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

His responsibilities include leading estimators, project managers, superintendents, and field teams; coordinating specialized equipment and resources; maintaining strict regulatory compliance; and supporting client needs across a wide range of projects. With deep expertise in underground utilities and site development, Sam drives execution on some of FERMA's most demanding civil and infrastructure work.

Linda Ells

Linda plays a vital role in supporting the company’s financial health and long-term stability. As Controller, she oversees the organization’s accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance across all financial activities.

Her responsibilities include supervising accounting processes, managing budgets and forecasts, maintaining internal financial controls, and providing detailed financial insights to leadership. Avery Brown
